External job applicants with a confirmed positive drug or alcohol test result shall be denied employment and shall be required to wait one year before applying for another position within Tulsa County.****Essential Job Functions*** Cleans and maintain Parks Facilities.* Uses cleaning tools and other products to create a clean and healthy environment.* Keep restroom clean and stock with supplies.* Cleans and polishes windows, walls, and hardware using prepared cleaning agents.* Sweeps and mops floors as needed.* Clean up spills and mops floors dry.* Picks up trash in public areas.* Perform snow removal, sand bagging, and cleaning of properties.* Perform other duties as assigned.# # Additional Job Description**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**Knowledge of common practices, methods, tools and materials used in basic building maintenance and grounds keeping; of the hazards and safety precautions of the work; institutional or industrial cleaning methods; and of departmental policies and procedures.Skill in using various cleaning supplies and equipment; evaluating needs and requirementsAbility to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management; of positively handle work under time constraints; work in hot and humid surroundings; maintain the physical stamina necessary to perform manual labor; to work varied shifts; and to understand and apply workplace and job site safety rules.**Computer Skills**To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory Control software, Word Processing software, and Internet software.**Supervisory Responsibilities**This job has no supervisory responsibilities.**Education and/or Experience**Less than a high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.**Language Skills**Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.**Mathematical Skills**Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.**Reasoning Ability**Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, of diagram form.
