About You

• Registered or Provisional Veterinary Technician required
• 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic
• Emergency or specialty experience a plus
• Reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-level patient and client care

Experience With

• Venipuncture, catheter placement, and diagnostic sample collection
• Anesthesia monitoring, sedation, and procedures
• Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy
• Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ)
• Diagnostic imaging assistance (radiographs, ultrasound support)
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate nursing care
• Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling
• Patient monitoring and pain scoring, with trend recognition

Compensation

• Base Pay: $24.00-$29.00/hour
• Swing Shift Differential: +$3.00/hour
• Overnight Differential: +$5.00/hour

Surgery Technicians On-Call Extras

• $8.00/hour extra when on call, whether you come in or not
• $450 for each procedure completed
• Eligible for overtime and shift differentials
