Description: Incumbents in this position, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (R.N.), participate in the delivery of patient care which maximizes outcomes. The delivery of care is consistent with professional practice standards. Incumbents ensure safe patient care during surgical procedures through appropriate planning and implementation. Demonstrated skill in interpersonal communication as related to patients, families, coworkers, physicians, and others is essential. Interest in working with children and adolescents with disabilities and their families is important. Candidates must be physically able to transport patients.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in pediatrics
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist with spine and complex orthopedic surgical experience
