Clinical Nurse Coordinator Ortho Neuro Trauma

Job Summary Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in Orthopedic Neurology Trauma unit coordinates patient care and staff operations during shifts, ensuring high quality, patient‑centered services and supporting departmental performance. Responsibilities Assist with admission and discharge processes. Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and managers to foster teamwork for improved outcomes. Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Support facility engagement initiatives such as employee rounding and hourly rounds. Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; recommend and implement courses of action, training, development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions. Assist with staff scheduling, manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment. Qualifications Registered Nurse. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. We are an equal opportunity employer.
