Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York, commencing Aug 31, 2026. This role involves working with a team of Medical Assistants, managing a patient volume of 15-20 patients per day through shifts like 9:30am to 5:00pm or 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The Physician will focus on providing comprehensive preventative care, conducting wellness visits, administering immunizations, and addressing sick visits for patients aged 0-17. Responsibilities and Duties
- Working collaboratively with a team of Medical Assistants to manage patient volume.
- Seeing 15-20 patients per day, with each checkup anticipated to last 10-15 minutes.
- Providing preventative care, including wellness visits and annual health checkups.
- Administering immunizations to pediatric patients.
- Managing acute sick visits, including cold and flu checkups.
- Treating a diverse patient population ranging from 0 to 17 years of age.
- Board certification in Pediatrics is required.
- The CureMD EMR system is utilized.
- Anticipated patient volume of 15-20 per day.
- Collaborate with a team of Medical Assistants.
