Job Description
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to load and unload shipments efficiently. This role also involves manual loading and unloading of goods, requiring consistent ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The operator will ensure proper load securing, maintain inventory accuracy, and adhere to all safety protocols to support smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklift to load and unload shipments
- Manually load and unload materials as needed
- Lift items up to 50 lbs consistently
- Secure loads for safe transport and storage
- Handle inventory and assist in material stacking
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Proficient in forklift operation
- Experience with manual lifting and load securing
- Inventory handling skills
