Indicators of Success Focus on providing amazing customer service Consistent efforts to mix amazing cocktails Adherence to Forbes 5‑Star Standards Job Duties Prepare alcohol or non‑alcohol beverages Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Present Bar Menu to guest Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Assist in taking inventory and monitoring supplies to ensure bar is well stocked Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Adherence to all stated OHSA, TTB, and MLCC laws, procedures and practices Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas Other general duties and actives as directed from time to time Receive, store, and organize shipments Shifts include - Summer Cabanas, Summer Patio, Lunch Shifts, Winter Cabanas, and Artisan Dinner Service (main bar) Required experience/Requirements Proven working experience as a bartender Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure environment Creative, innovative thinking Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety Available to work on‑call, shifts, after hours, over the weekend, and holidays Physical Demands Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to reach above your head, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl #J-18808-Ljbffr
