Position Snapshot
• Clinical Assistant Professor
• Full-time, 9-month appointment, scheduled throughout the calendar year
• Start Date: January 2027
• Salary: $83,440
• Teaching Load: 24-30 credit hours annually
• Location: Muskogee Campus (In Person)

Required Qualifications
• Currently licensed as an occupational therapist in Oklahoma
• Post-professional doctorate (not limited to occupational therapy)
• Minimum three years of clinical practice as a licensed occupational therapist
• Experience teaching in higher education
• Documented expertise in research
• Ongoing scholarly achievement consistent with ACOTE standards

• Splint Assessment & Fabrication
• Occupational Therapy Management

What You'll Do
• Advise and mentor current and potential students
• Design, teach and contribute to occupational therapy syllabi and coursework
• Develop and sustain excellence in teaching, including continuous learning and use of evolving content delivery methods
• Develop and sustain excellence in research consistent with ACOTE standards
• Develop and sustain knowledge of the profession, healthcare, and content areas related to assigned instructional areas
• Support the continued success of NSU's Occupational Therapy Program through active participation in related activities, meetings, service and acting as a collegial member of the NSU community

Anticipated hire date: 01/01/2027
