Data Governance & Quality Analyst

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• Experience in a comparable data governance, data quality, or stewardship-focused role, or equivalent depth of knowledge and capability to carry out the duties
• Strong working knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and related governance practices
• Ability to translate business rules into governance controls, quality metrics, and AI governance workflows
• Familiarity with Alteryx is highly preferred
• Relevant education and/or training is considered an advantage

• Define and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata, and critical data elements
• Collaborate with data stewards and business leaders to establish ownership, standards, and governance controls
• Support governance frameworks, stewardship processes, data classifications, and metadata administration
• Document lineage, source-to-target mappings, and governance-related artifacts
• Assist with governance councils and cross-functional governance efforts
• Carry out data profiling, validation, and quality assessments across enterprise platforms
• Create, document, and maintain data quality rules and monitoring procedures
• Develop data quality scorecards, dashboards, and metrics
• Support root-cause analysis and remediation of data quality issues
• Validate critical data elements and business rules across source and target systems
• Run advanced SQL queries for profiling, reconciliation, validation, and testing
• Support source-to-target mapping validation activities
• Work in Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and Informatica environments
• Analyze data movement patterns and evaluate lineage across enterprise systems
• Support testing and validation for data migration, reporting, and analytics initiatives
