Job Description

As a Security Officer TWIC Required in Sulphur, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and emergency response activities. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, restricted-area concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear reports and maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
