Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active New Jersey COTA license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start of assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience providing ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and functional positioning to older adult populations preferred. Ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Occupational Therapist and document patient progress in electronic medical records.
