Position Assistant Powderpuff Coaches Location Warren, MI Job ID 5110 # of Openings 0 Powderpuff Assistant Coach Position Description Regina High School is seeking assistant coaches for the annual Powderpuff football season at Regina High School. The season begins the last week of July and ends after the Powderpuff game on a Saturday morning in mid‑September. The coaching staff reports directly to the senior‑class moderators. The coach is responsible for all senior‑class members participating in Regina Powderpuff and must follow the procedures of both Regina Powderpuff and Regina High School. Responsibilities Include Assist in planning and implementing team activities, practices, player placements, and game plans. Teach student‑athletes safe and fundamental techniques of the sport throughout the season. Maintain sufficient communication with athletes, parents, assistant coaches, moderators, and Regina Administration. Work in collaboration and cooperation with moderators recommending the purchase of equipment and supplies. Communicate Powderpuff rules, especially those involving player safety, to student‑athletes, parents, and moderators. Oversee or help oversee the maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and the practice facility. Promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship throughout the program. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications and Requirements Coaching experience preferred but not required. Must understand the technical aspects of football. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must complete “Protecting God’s Children” through the Archdiocese of Detroit, if not already completed. Must submit to a new background check. Must have a valid CPR certificate or obtain one.
