CNC Machinist — Full-Time Opportunity Near Westborough, MA
A leading manufacturing company near Westborough, Massachusetts, is actively interviewing experienced CNC Machinists for a full-time position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on machinist who enjoys precision work, machine setup, problem-solving, and the production of high-quality parts.
What You'll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and technical drawings
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC Star Swiss lathes
- Inspect first-piece and in-process parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Change machine offsets, tooling, and operating parameters as needed
- Perform basic G-code edits; previous G-code editing experience is a plus
- Complete routine preventive maintenance to keep machines operating efficiently
- Set up machines to achieve their full production capabilities
What We're Looking For
- CNC machining and machine setup experience
- Ability to read blueprints and customer specifications
- Experience inspecting precision-machined parts
- Familiarity with Swiss-style CNC lathes is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
