Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the Construction/Contractor industry based in Summerville, South Carolina. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, with no payroll responsibilities involved. The workplace will initially be located in Mount Pleasant for training, after which there is flexibility to work from a hybrid location. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting tasks, excluding payroll Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for financial management Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts Maintain and update the general ledger as necessary Prepare necessary documents for the CPA firm to handle close Perform cost accounting tasks, including the preparation of Profit & Loss (P& L) by job Utilize Bill.com for efficient financial operations Adapt to a hybrid work environment after initial training period Apply knowledge of Construction Accounting in day-to-day tasks Qualifications Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Computerized Accounting System Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to handle all Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of QuickBooks software Familiarity with General Ledger operations Experience in the Construction industry Familiarity with Construction Accounting methods Understanding of Construction Cost estimates Knowledge of Cost Accounting methodologies #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
