System Administrator

AEP is partnering with a well-established local Hawaii organization who is seeking a Systems Administrator to support and maintain their IT infrastructure. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in a stable environment, takes ownership of day‑to‑day IT operations, and is comfortable working with legacy Windows‑based systems. Employment Type : Full‑Time Compensation: $94,000- $110,000 base Responsibilities Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and user accounts Provide Tier 2/3 support for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple locations Manage system backups, patches, and updates across the infrastructure Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively Support end users across retail/operations locations throughout Oahu Coordinate with vendors and third‑party IT service providers Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures Assist with hardware procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management What We're Looking For 7+ years of experience in a systems administration or IT support role Solid hands‑on experience with Windows Server (2012/2016) and Active Directory Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related tools Experience supporting multi‑site or distributed environments a plus Strong troubleshooting skills and a calm, solution‑oriented mindset Hawaii‑based or relocating — local candidates strongly preferred Nice to Have CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification Experience with legacy systems and hardware Retail or operations IT support background #J-18808-Ljbffr
