Pay: Range starts at $94,244.88 annually (pay is calculated based on years of licensed working experience)

Schedule : 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | Monday - Friday (flexibility to switch to 4/10 schedule once quality metrics and productivity expectations are met) | Hybrid role with a requirement of up to 4 in-person program visits per month

Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) diagnoses non-psychiatric medical problems, behavioral health, and substance use disorders, and provides evidence-based treatments for those disorders.

Essential Functions

• Diagnoses medical disorders including behavioral health and substance use disorders in accordance with existing Current Procedural Technology (CPT) definitions
• Prescribes evidence-based treatments for diagnosed disorders
• Bills for services in a timely manner
• Documents important clinical events in the electronic medical record system
• Provides professional leadership, mentoring, and general guidance for other medical team members
• Educates clients and families of the individual treatment plan
• Will be assigned to support multiple clinics
• Follows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment, including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client care
• Collaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatment
• Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations
• Meets direct care expectations
• Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements

Requirements:

Education

• Master or Doctorate degree in advanced practice nursing from an accredited organization

Experience

• None - see preferred experience

Licenses/Certificates

• APRN license in state of practice
• DEA license in state of practice
• Valley de-escalation certification
• Waiver to prescribe buprenorphine if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous FNP or PMHNP experience
