Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Allentown, PA

Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $23/hr on W2 (All Inclusive)

Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility of Extension)

Job Summary

We are urgently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations, including material handling, loading/unloading, order picking, and inventory movement.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Select orders and put away inbound materials.
• Move, stack, and stage products in designated locations, including high racks.
• Pack/unpack materials and prepare orders for shipment.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and product movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts REQUIRED.
• Warehouse/material handling experience.
• Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and heavier items with assistance.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist, and move throughout the warehouse.
