TGI Fridays Store 1742Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests of bar and service bar following standard recipes and the company's alcoholic beverage policies; merchandises drinks; and is attentive to guests, making them feel welcome, at all times.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesID all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.Maintains a warm, welcoming, "Corner Bar" atmosphereProperly and promptly prepare, garnish, and serve drinks to guestsProvides a personal touch to repeat guests such as learning names and favorite drinksCoordinate food orders from guests seated in the bar area with the kitchenLearn the menu and make recommendations when appropriateUpsells guests on food or drink items where appropriateKeeps a clean, organized bar areaAccurately rings up all orders in the POS systemFollowing all relevant brand standards for serviceQualification RequirementsMust be dressed neatly and well groomed in company approved uniform at all timesMust be able to operate P.O.S. system, make change correctly and make credit card transactionsMust be able to calmly respond to angry guests and notify a managerMust be able to pass bar validationMust be able to respond clearly to guests' requestsMust be able to hear well amongst loud background noiseMust be able to frequently lift 30 lb. cases and carry short distances, up or down stairs
