Senior Admissions Registrar

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services including robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci Surgical System, a weightloss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women's and children's services. Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.

Position Summary: Responsible to greet patients cordially, register patients accurately and efficiently, perform initial financial screening and counseling, obtain all needed signatures, and inform patients of Hospital admission and financial responsibilities, collect money due at the time of service. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Job Information: This opportunity is for a full-time Senior Admissions Registrar position with the main Emergency Department Schedule: 7a-3:30p - every other weekend with Wednesday off. 1 year registration experience required.

Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent EMR Knowledge and medical coding experience needed Prior Registration experience is required Must be able to multitask and work in fast paced environment Medical Terminology required Attention to detail along with time management is required Accurate data entry is required.
