Radiology Technologist

Operate all diagnostic radiology equipment (i.e. Fluoroscopy room, portable, and DR room). Perform all diagnostic radiology procedures associated with each type of equipment. Ability to operate in two other modalities (either CT, MR, Cath Lab, or IR) in addition to Diagnostic Radiology, analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors, position the body correctly, review physicians written orders or obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality images and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and oneself. Completed department orientation and/or competency skills rosters as required.

Requirements: Minimum two years' experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility preferred. 1-2 years of experience in three modalities (i.e. CT, MR, IR, or Cath Lab) preferred. Diploma from a certified school of radiology technology. Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills. Basic organizational and computer skills. Current California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure required. Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license preferred. Current BLS (AHA) certification required. CPI required within 30 days of hire.
