Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description Title: Machine OperatorFLSA: Non-ExemptGeneral SummaryAs a Machine operator you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specifics functions. The listed below are including but are not limited to.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performedSet up machinery and perform tool changes as neededAbility to perform changeoversLoad programs/inputs into the machine controlOperators perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used Use proper tools on the machine Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing processPerform and record daily preventative maintenance on machinesPractice exceptional housekeepingUnderstand lock out, tag out Other related duties may be assigned as needed. The responsibilities listed above are not intended to be an exhaustive list.Job QualificationsExperience: Machine operator experience is preferredForklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)Blueprint reading skillsThe ability to understand and convert decimals and fractionsDetailed orientedComputer skillGood communication skillsGeneral labor skillsPhysical Requirements for the jobAbility to move at least 50lbsAbility to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per dayWear the necessary PPE for the position
