This role will report to Sr. Director, Development Engineering.Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose, CARole and Responsibilities: Conduct CFD/Thermal studies for Energy server enclosures and site installations.Provide regular guidance on enclosure thermal management for Product development, from concept to production.Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely inputs with accurate predictions.Collaborate with Cross-functional teams for feasibility study.Report and present results/recommendations across diverse groups.Skills and Experience:MS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.Deep understanding of the fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and CFD.5+ years of industry experience utilizing CFD in Thermal management, in Electronics/Data center cooling.Highly skilled in CFD tools: ANSYS Icepak(preferred)/Fluent/Flotherm.Able to utilize first principles for quick calculations and CFD models.Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-starter and a quick learner.For more information visit: and view a video on What Powers Us!Bloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
