With a proven track record of successful sales support activity, you will present and articulate the capabilities and values of HPE Network Solutions versus competitors. The preferred candidate has career-level experience with networking infrastructure technologies in all arenas. You will work with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and convert leads into successful engagements.The role requires the ability to lead in a team environment, collaborate on the development of innovative tailored solutions for clients and prospects, gather client data to effectively tailor solutions, and deliver business value through solution selling. You must understand how HPE Networking solutions deliver business value to clients.EligibilityCandidates must reside in Kansas or the western part of Missouri and be willing to travel within the territory on a regular basis. The territory covers all of Kansas and Western Missouri, focusing on SLED K-12 and Local Government with significant emphasis on ERATE.ResponsibilitiesManage account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory.Provide the optimum combination of hardware, software, and services to meet complex customer needs.Play a role in the development of the bid, proposal, and presentation of the solution to the prospect.Provide specific solutions, technology, product, and sales support for accounts in the assigned territory.Deliver technical presentations to customers, partners, and potential prospects.Manage channel partners to help drive business and deliver demand generation events.Develop account relationships over time to continue to deliver advice to the customer and identify additional opportunities; maintain and manage a sales pipeline and forecasts against regional goals.Possess competitive knowledge including solution, technology, and product offerings.Provide consultative support to key internal and external stakeholders in the assigned territory.Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations; assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs.Prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products, applications, and solutions.Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products, applications, and solutions.Build and execute a proof of concept based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for the client.Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.Experience5+ years of infrastructure engineering with focus on wireless, switching, security, network administration, and cloud solutions.Some experience with successful pre-sales support in SLED and a preference for SLED experience.Career-level oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.Must be customer focused and able to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues.Ability to interface with senior levels of internal and external organizations is required.Due to the responsibilities of this role, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.Additional SkillsAccountability, Active Learning, Active Listening, Assertiveness, Bias, Building Rapport, Buyer Personas, Coaching, Complex Sales, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Cross-Functional Teamwork, Customer Experience Strategy, Customer Interactions, Design Thinking, Empathy, Financial Acumen, Follow-Through, Growth Mindset, Identifying Sales Opportunities, Industry Knowledge, Intellectual Curiosity, Long Term Planning, Managing Ambiguity, and more.What We Can Offer YouHealth & WellbeingWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing.Personal & Professional DevelopmentWe invest in your career.
