Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Adult, Med-surg Peds, Telemetry Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 0 years minimum License: Current RN license Certifications: Current certification in CPR, ACLS, and PALS Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification; ability to read telemetry Description: This position is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization's vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patients' age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care, including administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other healthcare providers, and providing education to patients and/or significant others. Must be BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified and able to read telemetry. Holiday coverage is required.
