Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Mother/Baby Couplet Care) Charleston, South Carolina. This role provides professional nursing care for patients in a level 2 special care nursery by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with established standards and the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift 7a7:30p; may be required to work holidays and weekends as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) currently licensed in South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state RN license; graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing; American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; BSN preferred (highly desired) with BSN required within five (5) years of hire date.
• Level 2 special care nursery experience; level II or level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience is required for this role.
• Experience with CPAP, hypoglycemic care, NAS, and high flow.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN preferred (highly desired).
• Additional Information: May need to float to other facilities as needed; level 2 special care nursery experience is required for consideration. Work may involve frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, and intermittent lifting/moving/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs; exposure to blood and body fluids, infectious materials, and communicable diseases is possible.
