Software Engineer, Agent Platform

Responsibilities

• Help establish the New York office’s engineering culture and standards.
• Build the agent harness for live customer conversations and real-world actions under tight latency and reliability constraints.
• Develop evaluation, observability, and tooling to measure and improve agent behavior in production.
• Work directly with customers to understand workflows, gather feedback, and turn pain points into product features.
• Own end-to-end delivery from specification through production for systems that keep agents running continuously.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience delivering user-facing software at scale through multiple release cycles.
• Strong full-stack fluency with React, TypeScript, and Python, plus experience with databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Founder-level ownership, autonomy, clean coding, and comfort with ambiguous problems.
• Ability to translate stakeholder goals into clear technical specifications and customer-focused products.
• Strong communication skills for explaining architectural trade-offs to engineers and business outcomes to executives.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, or RAG patterns is preferred, or willingness to learn quickly.
