About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Brownwood, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Weekend coverage included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care to patients across all age groups, including neonates
• Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete accurate and timely charting and documentation of patient care
• Participate in orientation modules as required upon onboarding
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including mandatory drug screening upon arrival

Required Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT credential required; license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy required
• Some experience with neonatal patient populations required
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a plan in place within that timeframe
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates not accepted)
• Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Altera charting system preferred
• Prior travel therapy experience preferred
