AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION OFFICER

Provide efficient operations of roadways, terminals, and ground transportation activities for passengers and airport personnel. General supervision; and oversight of commercial vehicle operations and traffic control in terminals and on roadways. Monitor and enforce safety, and security regulations and policies. Minimum age: 21 years.* High School graduation or GED.* A current valid Louisiana Driver's License.* The following may be disqualifying: a) Felony or numerous misdemeanor convictions. b) Unstable or unsatisfactory work history. c) History of illegal drug usage. Six months of experience in law enforcement, private/public security operations, airport security, or a customer service-related field such as outdoor recreation operations that includes experience in the operation of personal computers, associated software and ability to operate and handle two-way radio operations. SUBSTANCE ABUSE TESTING The City of New Orleans has a comprehensive program of substance abuse testing.
