Production Operations Supervisor

Role Overview: This position supports pharmaceutical packaging operations, reporting to the Manager - Operations. It offers hands-on experience in managing daily departmental activities, focusing on safety, quality, and compliance. The role involves developing and analyzing metrics for continuous improvement, maintaining SOPs in accordance with cGMPs, and mentoring team members to enhance skills. Responsibilities include leading 5S and safety initiatives, assisting with equipment troubleshooting, supporting packaging and quality checks, and managing records such as batch records and shift reports. Candidates will develop leadership skills through training, mentoring, and self-paced learning. The role requires ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and reporting unsafe conditions. Develops and analyzes operational metrics for improvement Maintains SOPs ensuring compliance with cGMPs Mentors and trains team members to build workforce skills Leads safety and 5S initiatives facility-wide Supports equipment troubleshooting and packaging processes Handles record keeping and batch documentation Participates in safety investigations and CAPA activities Manages daily operational tasks including time management and performance Supports SOP revisions and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or equivalent Preferred experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related fields Leadership and team management abilities Strong communication, judgment, and multitasking skills Attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office Understanding of manufacturing KPIs Additional Information: The role offers a sign-on bonus, requires flexibility in shift hours, and is based onsite in Columbus, OH.
