Position Summary As an Architect at Zephyrus Engineering Limited, you will play a pivotal role in transforming design concepts into functional, innovative, and sustainable structures. Working closely with cross-disciplinary teams, youll drive architectural projects from initial client meetings through design, development, and execution. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of high-impact projects, collaborate with industry experts, and bring architectural visions to life. Responsibilities Design Development : Lead the creative design process for projects, developing architectural concepts and detailed plans that align with client goals and our sustainability objectives. Client Engagement : Meet with clients to understand project requirements, communicate design proposals, and refine plans to exceed client expectations. Project Management : Oversee the entire architectural lifecycle, coordinating with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration across all project phases. Documentation & Compliance : Prepare and review design documents, specifications, and construction drawings, ensuring compliance with local codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations. Sustainable Solutions : Apply sustainable and eco-friendly design principles to reduce environmental impact while enhancing building efficiency and functionality. Onsite Coordination : Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess design implementation, and troubleshoot any architectural or structural issues in real-time. Innovation & Research : Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology, and propose new ideas for sustainable, cutting-edge designs. Qualifications Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution. Licensure : Licensed Architect (or in the process of obtaining licensure). Experience : 5+ years of experience in architectural design, preferably in commercial or infrastructure projects. Technical Skills : Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software. Strong understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. Familiar with LEED certification standards and sustainable building practices. Knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements. Soft Skills : Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
