Food Service Worker

The Food Service Worker supports the daily operation of the school cafeteria by preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. Prepare and serve food items according to the daily menu Set up and break down serving stations Replenish food during meal service Clean and sanitize work areas, counters, and equipment Complete required food safety documentation (HACCP) accurately and on time Follow all district food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–40 pounds Previous food service experience preferred but not required Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (during the school year) Salary: $17.25 per hour Benefits: Single coverage insurance, sick leave and paid holidays, among other benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr District 220
