Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of public housing programs and residential communities Manage tenant relations, including lease enforcement, occupancy, and conflict resolution Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, federal housing policies, and local ordinances Supervise and mentor housing staff Coordinate property inspections, maintenance requests, and unit turnovers Develop and implement policies to improve housing operations and resident services Manage budgets, reports, and documentation for housing programs Requirements Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Social Services, or related field preferred 3–5 years of experience in public housing, property management, or a related field Knowledge of HUD regulations, Section 8, and affordable housing compliance Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service abilities Proficiency in housing management software and Microsoft Office Suite Public Housing Manager (PHM) certification or willingness to obtain preferred About Us The Palatka Housing Authority has long been committed to providing safe, decent, and affordable housing to the residents of Palatka, FL and the surrounding community.
