In this role, a Team Member will be responsible for reviewing the General Ledger (GL) and prepare journal entries. In addition, they will perform monthly reconciliations, analyze variances, and file miscellaneous taxes.

Essential Functions:

• Review GL accounts and prepare necessary journal entries
• Perform account analysis
• Reconcile and balance GL accounts
• Research and correct account discrepancies
• Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals
• Prepare summary of findings to be reviewed by senior staff
• Assist with year-end financial audits
• Prepare and file Sales/Use, Gross Receipt, and other miscellaneous taxes
• Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years experience, preferred
• Knowledge of Accounting Software, such as Lawson, NetSuite, PeachTree, etc.)
• Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.

• Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely when relaying technical accounting and finance information
• Knowledge of computer software and applications
• Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the customer, including possible overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel (minimal, < 10%)

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

This job operates in a physical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, arms and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 10 pounds.
