Physician - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/Interventional Pain-Berkeley Medical Center

Position: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/Interventional Spine and Pain Physician The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Neurological Surgery, and the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute are recruiting a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/Interventional Spine and Pain physician to join a comprehensive neuromusculoskeletal-based practice at Berkeley Medical Center in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. The successful candidate will practice in Martinsburg, WV. Responsibilities Provide outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation and interventional spine and pain management services. Conduct electrodiagnostic evaluations and ultrasound-guided procedures. Deliver spasticity management, prosthetics, TBI care, and other neuromuscular and neurologic services within the neuroscience center. Participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Engage with the multidisciplinary team of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for a West Virginia state medical license. Completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program. Completed one year of an ACGME or private interventional spine and musculoskeletal fellowship (NASS-interventional spine, ACGME pain medicine, or ACGME sports medicine). All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Board eligible/certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain medicine or (interventional) sports medicine, or a certificate of completion from an NASS-Interventional Spine and MSK program or other private fellowship. Compensation & Schedule Schedulable weekly hours: 40 hours. Exempt/Non‑Exempt: Exempt (United States of America). Location Berkeley Medical Center, 2500 Hospital Drive, Martinsburg, West Virginia.
