Job Summary

Operating Room Registered Nurse. The position provides perioperative nursing care for orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic procedures, with responsibility for circulating during surgical cases. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, clinical judgment, multidisciplinary collaboration, accurate documentation, and participation in continuing education.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week; call coverage includes one weeknight and two weekend days per month, with additional call as department needs require.
• Required Qualifications: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; ability to circulate for orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic procedures.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include assessing patients mental, physical, and spiritual needs; developing and evaluating individualized plans of care with the multidisciplinary healthcare team; providing patient and responsible-person education; recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition; managing workplace conflict through professional communication; meeting core measure responsibilities; participating in continuing education; and maintaining complete, accurate medical records.
