About the Role Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Seattle 5 Days Onsite Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue. Develop and manage data workflows and orchestration using Managed Airflow (MWAA). Write and optimize SQL and Python/PySpark scripts for data transformation and processing. Architect and maintain data storage solutions using AWS Redshift and S3. Implement and manage data cataloging, governance, and security using AWS Glue and Lake Formation. Collaborate with analytics teams to support reporting and visualization using QuickSight and Tableau. Automate infrastructure deployment using AWS CDK and AWS Build Tools. Ensure high data quality, performance, and reliability across all data processes. Drive best practices for data engineering, including CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar roles. Experience working a lead role. Expertise in AWS data technologies, including AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, and Lake Formation. Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark. Hands‑on experience with data pipeline orchestration using Managed Airflow (MWAA). Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and performance tuning. Familiarity with AWS CDK and AWS Build Tools for infrastructure automation. Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
