Innovation Operators are subject matter experts in specific revenue cycle domains who also understand the broader end-to-end revenue cycle. In this role, you'll help redesign workflows, uncover root causes, and partner with product, engineering, and analytics teams to build and validate automation and AI-driven solutions. This is a hands-on role for professionals who enjoy solving complex problems and shaping the future of healthcare operations. Core Responsibilities Serve as a domain subject matter expert while maintaining strong end-to-end revenue cycle literacy Identify upstream root causes that drive downstream rework, friction, and revenue leakage Design future-state workflows and operating models with measurable impact Build and maintain domain-specific knowledge graphs (inputs, rules, actions, outcomes) Participate in design sessions and rapid innovation sprints Test and validate automation, ML, AI, and agentic models using real operational scenarios Translate expert judgment into rules, decision trees, training data, and guardrails Support pilots and controlled rollouts with clear success criteria Document operational logic and findings for reuse and scale Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences. These roles are based in Austin, Texas and follow a hybrid schedule , with a minimum of three days onsite per week .
