Job Summary


Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Finished Goods Handlers / Forklift Operators to support warehouse and shipping operations within a food manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts, storing finished products, pulling customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing products for shipment.


The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently within a refrigerated warehouse environment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment throughout the facility
  
  
• Put away finished product pallets into designated storage racks and warehouse locations
  
  
• Pull and stage customer orders accurately for shipment
  
  
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities
  
  
• Complete and maintain required inventory and shipping documentation
  
  
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns to leadership
  
  
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of machinery and equipment within the work area
  
  
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris
  
  
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices
  
  
• Participate in safety, GMP, quality, and operational audits as assigned
  
  
• Support warehouse operations and complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience required
  
  
• Previous experience in a freezer, refrigerated, or cold storage environment preferred
  
  
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred
  
  
• Ability to accurately complete inventory and shipping documentation
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
  
  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements & Working Environment

• Work is performed primarily in a refrigerated and cold storage environment
  
  
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  
  
• Frequent use of hands for handling products, equipment, and paperwork
  
  
• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally
  
  
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment throughout the shift
  
  
• Strong visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision

Food Safety & Quality Requirements

• Follow established food safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the production and storage of safe, quality food products
  
  
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of food safety and quality systems
  
  
• Maintain compliance with GMP standards, food safety requirements, and company quality initiatives
  
  
• Adhere to all food manufacturing safety and sanitation practices
