Growing together.Position Highlights:Per-diem shifts based on needs - average 4-6 shifts per quarterSchedule: 12-hour onsite shifts primarily nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMConduct hospital rounds on all patients referred to the service at San Gorgonio Memorial HospitalProvide patient care in a manner consistent with hospital medical staff by-laws and referring physician requestsCommunicates with families, referring physicians, specialists, administration and hospital departments in the care and treatment of patients referred to the serviceWork with hospitals and clinical staff, social services, utilization management and other members of the interdisciplinary teamsCollaborates with interdisciplinary team to discuss patients progress, variances and achievement of expected outcomes and plan of careAssumes responsibility to ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and timely including medical records, billing/coding and any other such documentation as requested by hospital from time to timeAttends and completes all specific competencies and annual organizational requirementsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Board certified or board eligible with the ability to attain prior to startUnrestricted California MD/DO LicenseCurrent BLS, ACLS certificationCurrent California DEA certificate or ability to attain prior to startEMR ProficientDemonstrated excellent communication skills and time managementCompensation for this specialty generally ranges from $125.00 to 186.86 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
