Azure DevOps Engineer [Remote]

Lead the design, build, and operation of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure that supports training and evaluation of frontier AI models. As a core team Azure DevOps Engineer, you will own CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and automation to enable reliable deployments and rapid iteration across distributed teams. Strong written and verbal communication is essential for collaborating with engineering, security, and product stakeholders in a remote setting.

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools to ensure reliable application delivery.
• Orchestrate and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Monitor system performance, automate operational tasks, and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain system security, compliance controls, and backup and recovery strategies.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and runbooks, and communicate technical information clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, with a strong focus on Azure cloud environments.
• Deep expertise with Azure DevOps tools and services.
• Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for orchestration and container management.
• Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Preferred

• Familiarity with additional cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
• Experience supporting large scale, distributed systems.
• Relevant Azure or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.

• Posted compensation range on this listing, 200, 000 to 300, 000 yearly.
• Company national pay range for this position, base salary 160, 000 to 220, 000 per year.
