Physician Assistant

SpineSearch is partnering with a well-established Pain Management and Sports Medicine practice with locations in Long Island and Queens seeking a Physician Assistant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Physician Assistant looking to work alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative outpatient setting. The practice is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care and is seeking a provider interested in making a long-term commitment to the organization. Position Overview The Physician Assistant will work closely with the supervising physician to evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal, spine, and pain-related conditions. Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatment planning, medication management, ordering diagnostic studies, and performing select in-office procedures after appropriate training. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and manage new and follow-up patients Obtain comprehensive medical and social histories Perform physical examinations Develop and implement treatment plans Coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care Order and review diagnostic imaging and testing Prescribe medications in accordance with NYS regulations Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly within the EMR Perform therapeutic procedures, including simple muscle and joint injections (training provided) Assist with scheduling interventional pain procedures Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment Provide patients with education, support, and encouragement throughout their treatment journey Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Current New York State Physician Assistant License Active NPI and DEA registration Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems) Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and general computer applications Bilingual candidates are highly preferred Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Occasional Saturdays as needed Locations Candidates must be willing to travel between the practice's Long Island and Queens offices.
