SRE CloudOps Practice Architect

Salary: $148,200 - 222,400 per year Requirements:

• We need 10-12+ years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, SRE, or distributed systems.
• We require deep, hands-on expertise with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform, ideally in production-scale or hybrid environments.
• We look for proven systems design and architecture capability in real enterprise settings.
• We expect a strong understanding of agentic platform concepts, architectures, and how they apply in the enterprise.
• We need advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning experience across hybrid platforms.
• We require solid networking fundamentals, including VPCs, L3/L4, DNS, and load balancing.
• We expect strong Kubernetes knowledge, including EKS and GKE, along with cloud-native platform experience.
• We require proficiency in Terraform and at least one programming or scripting language such as Go, Python, or Bash.
• We look for demonstrated success in collaborative, global delivery environments, including working with offshore teams and large distributed groups.
• We need someone who can mentor, influence, and raise technical standards across teams without formal authority.
• We require a professional-level cloud solution architect certification from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• We prefer certifications in observability tools such as Dynatrace or Datadog, and IaC certifications such as Terraform.
• Good communication skills are mandatory for this client-facing role.

• We own the end-to-end architecture and implementation of cloud platforms across AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• We design and build production-ready reference architectures for multi-account and multi-project environments, Kubernetes platforms, and hybrid or multi-cloud deployments.
• We stay hands-on with architecture validation, proof-of-concepts, and complex customer implementations.
• We lead platform design using SRE-first practices, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident response, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement.
• We ensure platforms are highly available, resilient, operationally simple, and supportable by global teams.
• We partner with SRE and operations teams to define operational readiness standards, runbooks, and escalation paths.
• We apply architectural understanding of agentic systems, including agent-based workflows, orchestration models, autonomous decision-making, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• We guide teams on integrating agentic concepts with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, reliability engineering, security, and governance.
• We mentor offshore teams to build agent-enabled capabilities and accelerate solution delivery and go-to-market timelines.
• We translate emerging agentic patterns into practical, enterprise-ready architectures rather than experimental prototypes.
• We remain hands-on with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Kubernetes lifecycle management, and CI/CD or GitOps delivery patterns.
• We guide the development of reusable platform components, accelerators, and templates to improve speed and consistency.
• We review and approve designs for shared platform services such as networking, identity, security, ingress, and secrets.
• We lead and mentor distributed global teams, ensuring architectural consistency, high standards, clear ownership, and accountability.
• We actively participate in code, design, and architecture reviews.
• We bridge architecture, delivery, and operations so solutions can be executed in real client environments.
• We drive solution incubation from idea to reference implementation and market-ready offering.
• We enable faster client onboarding through standardized patterns and pre-built assets.
• We support pre-sales, solutioning, and technical validation when needed while maintaining hands-on depth.
• We balance innovation with stability so platforms can scale across multiple clients.
