JOB SUMMARY The Document Delivery Generation team is seeking a candidate to support all aspects of application development, from requirement discussion through implementation and ongoing support across all environments. This role involves creating design and support documentation, focusing on Mainframe Development for Print Delivery applications and their integration with other tools. The position requires end-to-end ownership of tasks within an agile scrum team, including source control, code reviews, production issue resolution, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities • Support all aspects of application development: requirement discussion, architecture, design, development, maintenance, testing, debugging, implementation, and supporting applications.
• Participate in creating project, application, architecture, functional/technical design, and support documentation.
• Perform Mainframe Development for Print Delivery applications and integration with other tools functionalities.
• Manage source control, branching, build, and release management.
• Conduct application peer code reviews.
• Assume responsibility and resolve production issues as level 1/2 support.
• Participate in BCP / Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Provide night and weekend support for code releases.
• Deploy code across multiple environments from test to production using Endeavor.
• Develop standards for best practices and maintain system documentation.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks.
• Work on an agile scrum team.
Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in application development and implementation through the SDLC process following Agile practices.
• 8+ years of mainframe experience including COBOL, JCL, CICS (or IMS), DB2/SQL, and VSAM.
• Proficiency using TSO/ISPF/SDSF for batch and online production support.
• Mainframe Application development experience.
• OpenText Exstream development experience. Preferred Qualifications • OpenText Exstream Cloud Native experience.
