Your Role

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory evaluationschemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established protocols.
• Thoroughly analyze results for adherence to accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and manage preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for in-depth testing when necessary.
• Carefully document all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with the intention of ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) expected within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your career.
