Coastal Dry Cleaners is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Dry Cleaning Presser to join our production team.

No dry-cleaning or pressing experience is required — we will train the right person! We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and wants to become an important part of our team.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday – No weekends!
• Early morning start – approximately 4:00 AM
• Workday ends when the day’s production is completed
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are extremely important for this position

Responsibilities

As a Dry Cleaning Presser, you will be responsible for professionally finishing garments after they have been cleaned. Quality and attention to detail are extremely important, as your work directly impacts the finished product our customers receive.

Responsibilities include:

• Pressing and finishing garments according to our quality standards
• Carefully inspecting garments while working
• Paying close attention to wrinkles, creases, fabric condition, and overall presentation
• Learning the proper pressing techniques for different types of garments and fabrics
• Keeping your work area clean and organized
• Working independently and staying productive throughout your shift
• Completing your assigned production accurately and efficiently
• Helping in other areas of the dry-cleaning operation once your primary work is completed
• Communicating any garment concerns or quality issues to management
• Following proper safety and equipment procedures

Experience is NOT required. We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude, work ethic, and dependability.

• Punctual and comfortable starting work around 4:00 AM
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in producing quality work
• Able to work well independently without needing constant supervision
• Willing to learn and accept training
• Able to maintain a steady pace in a production environment
• A team player who is willing to help coworkers in other areas when their work is finished
• Comfortable working on their feet and performing repetitive tasks
• Focused on doing the job correctly and consistently
