The location in Plymouth, (North Carolina, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Electrical/Instrument Maintenance (All Levels) . This job is full-time permanent. Domtar is seeking safety-oriented individuals of all skill levels to join ourmaintenanceteamin our Electrical and Instrumentationdepartment at thePlymouth, North Carolinamill. The primary function of the Electrical and Instrumentation Department is to maintain equipment to keep it running smoothly, perform tests and calibrations, repair or replace components and troubleshoot equipment operational problems. Must have a personal dedication to safety, including proactive support of efforts to create a cultureof safety excellence. If selected for consideration, you must successfully complete a selection process that may include, but is not limited to, aptitude tests, interviews, practical skills demonstration, criminal background investigation, reference verification, and pre-employment drug screening. Applicants can apply to test for skills inelectrical or instrumentation. Domtar requires participation in a structured apprentice program. Successful applicants must be able to advance toa total ofthreeskills within the apprentice program if they are hired. Additional skills are assigned based on mill needs. This position could possibly require rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Domtar offers competitive wages and a range of benefits, including Medical Dental Vision Life insurance 401(k) with company match KeyResponsibilities: Perform tests and maintenance procedures for instruments used for measuring and controlling flow, level, pressure, temperature, chemical composition and other variables in manufacturing and processing. Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturer's specifications. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports. Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment andprocesses. Consult with and advise processoperators. Required Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma orGED. Successful completion of technical electrical assessment. Available to work varying hours that may include shift,weekends,andholidays. Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and respond toemergency call-ins. Passpre-employment background check and drugscreen. Wear the required personal protective equipment. Work in industrial conditions (i.e., warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery or working at heights with proper safety training and safety protection. Entry E/I Requirements: Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in the Electrical or Instrumentation field or one years related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience. AdvancedE/I Requirements: Candidates must have anAssociate's Degreein the Electrical or Instrumentation field and one year related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience or three years related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience. Journeyman E/I Requirements: Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in the Electrical or Instrumentation field and two years related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience or five years related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.
