Special emphasis to assist in the tear down and set up procedure. Compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOP's, and Safety Procedures.Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:Performs aspect(s) of the automated operation process, including but not limited to running of (4) four machines, set up / tear down, sanitizing which can include washing parts and disassemble as trained and instructed by a Lead / Supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMPsResponsible to ensure each product is prepared, filled, assembled, packed, and documented according to work instructions/SOP's, batch records and cGMP guidelines and/or procedures.Understands OEE data collection from machines and department, and able to react accordingly including elevating issue to appropriate personnel, a Lead or SupervisorFlexibility in cross training between operation functions and other departments when needed.Knowledgeable and competent to perform break down/set up of smaller components on heavy machinery, as instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMP proceduresAbility to identify and raise awareness on problems and possibly provide solutions for considerationSupports team in breaking down/setting up heavy machinery, operating various equipment, sanitization (major/minor clean)Performs manual aspects of the operation process, including but not limited to making boxes, loading machines, hand packing product, visual and physical checks of in process and finished materials as trained and instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMP proceduresLearns and performs one or more aspect(s) of the automated operation process, including but not limited to running of machines, as trained and instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMP proceduresProperly wear Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per cGMP guidelinesAccurately enter data records in Redzone and interpret written information within the batch recordActively utilize lean tools for process improvementPerform 5S activities and maintain organization of operating areasYou'll need the following (minimum qualifications):Minimum of year (4) year of experience in Manufacturing/packaging or related field.Possesses a genuine desire to work in Manufacturing truly likes working within all aspects of the manufacturing process.Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., climb step-up ladders, and perform constant motions of scooping, wiping, raising of arms, bending, and kneeling, if neededAbility to be exposed to nutraceutical raw materials and powders which may include allergen related itemsAbility to comprehend basic computer knowledgeAbility to work independently and in a team environmentHigh School education (HS Diploma or GED) preferredExperience in food/pharmaceutical processing operations, FDA regulated industry, or combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to perform the job successfully (preferred)A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range for this position is $21.28 to $23.52 . Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
