Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient-focused position requiring a DPT or Master's degree and experience in both outpatient and acute care settings.
Details
- Primarily outpatient clinic setting, with some work in the acute care setting within the same facility
- Monthly weekend coverage takes place in the acute care setting
- Standard schedule is 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; 4x10 schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM) available by request
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Current Virginia PT license required; license does not need to be in hand at time of consideration — candidates may apply immediately upon offer
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of one year of outpatient clinic and acute care experience required
- Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Position splits time between outpatient and acute care, with the primary focus on outpatient therapy
- May be required to work one holiday per 13-week contract, on rotation with permanent staff
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are not accepted; a radius requirement applies to eligibility for this position
