Remote Customer Service / Insurance Agent

The Gainey Agency is a fast-growing, client-focused insurance agency offering flexible, remote opportunities. We specialize in life insurance and financial protection products and support agents with training, mentorship, and access to resources. This is a fully remote role for candidates in the Chesapeake, VA area (100% remote). Job Overview Provide customer service and insurance guidance as a remote Customer Service / Insurance Agent, focusing on relationship-building, presenting tailored life insurance solutions, and providing policy support. Work independently while participating in team collaboration and ongoing training. Responsibilities Conduct inbound and outbound calls to assess client needs and recommend insurance products. Educate clients on policy options, underwriting, and benefits. Assist with basic policy servicing, including endorsements, claims support, and beneficiary changes. Maintain accurate digital records using CRM tools. Follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with teammates and participate in training sessions.Meet or exceed individual and team performance goals. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States. Must pass a background check. Active life insurance license preferred (or willingness to obtain; guidance provided). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote, performance-driven environment. Tech-savvy with basic proficiency in CRM tools, video conferencing, and digital communication. Preferred: previous experience in sales, insurance, or customer service, and familiarity with CRM systems and remote outreach tools.
