About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Communications to lead and execute strategic communication plans that support the business's mission and enhance its brand and reputation. The successful candidate will be responsible for public relations, social media, and employee communications, and will play a key role in developing and amplifying the company's presence in the market. This includes establishing collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, and being a passionate storyteller about the company's mission. The role also involves managing media inquiries, driving awareness of the company's success, and being prepared to manage high-profile issues or crises with agility. Candidates for the Vice President of Corporate Communications position at the company should be strategic, creative, and nimble leaders with a proven track record in a senior communications role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, including experience in financial and investor relations, and a solid understanding of business. Key attributes include executive presence, strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups. Experience in a public company, particularly listed on NYSE or NASDAQ, is essential. The role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, well-developed media relationships, and extensive experience in social media. A background in pharma, biopharma, or diagnostic communications is a plus, and the candidate should be prepared to travel up to 25% of the time.
